1. Drying ovens consume a relatively large amount of current; therefore, the power cord, switch, fuse, plug, and socket must have sufficient capacity. For safety, the oven casing should be grounded.
2. Do not overcrowd the oven with too many items. If the items to be dried are very moist, open the exhaust vents wide. During heating, the blower can be turned on to accelerate the removal of steam. However, do not allow the blower to run continuously for extended periods; allow it to rest appropriately.
3. Do not place any items on the lower heat dissipation plate inside the drying oven to avoid damaging the items or causing a fire.
4. When performing high-temperature dry heat sterilization on glassware, wait until the temperature inside the oven has decreased before opening the door to remove them, to prevent the glass from shattering due to sudden cooling.
5. Flammable, explosive, and volatile materials must not be placed inside the oven to prevent accidents.
6. If it is necessary to observe the items inside the constant temperature chamber, the outer door can be opened and observed through the inner glass door. Do not open the door too frequently to avoid affecting the temperature control. Drying ovens are used for drying and dry heat sterilization of items. They are divided into two types: forced air drying and vacuum drying. Forced air drying uses a circulating fan to blow hot air to ensure a balanced temperature inside the oven. Vacuum drying uses a vacuum pump to extract air from the oven, making the atmospheric pressure inside the oven lower than normal pressure, so that the product can be tested in a very clean state. It is a commonly used instrument.
