Always check that the chamber can reach the top end of your required profile without strain.
Temperature accuracy
Accuracy matters because five degrees off can change the results. For example, at one hundred degrees Celsius, a small drift can speed up chemical reactions and give misleading data. Modern chambers often hold accuracy within ±0.1℃. That precision gives confidence that what you measure reflects true material behavior.
Aging time
Aging time is the duration you expose the sample to stress. It can be hours, days, or even months. The length of time depends on what failure mode you want to accelerate.
Cycles
A constant heat test has value, but real life is not constant. That is why cycle control is important. You can program the chamber to rise and fall between two temperatures. This creates expansion and contraction, which stresses joints and coatings. In rubber parts, cycling can reveal cracks that never show in static conditions.
Temperature uniformity
Uniformity is how evenly the chamber holds temperature across the space. If one shelf runs hotter, the samples there may fail earlier, giving false results.
