1. Placement Environment
The drying oven should be placed in a dry, well-ventilated location. Avoid placing it in a humid environment or one with corrosive gases. A humid environment may cause the oven's outer shell to rust, affecting its lifespan; while corrosive gases may corrode the internal structure and electronic components, causing malfunctions. The drying oven should also be placed on a stable surface to prevent shaking during operation and maintain temperature stability.
2. Item Placement
Before placing items in the drying oven, ensure their surfaces are clean and free of debris and moisture. If items have excessive moisture, pre-treat them, such as by blotting them with paper towels, to prevent excessive evaporation from affecting the internal humidity and temperature. When placing items, ensure adequate spacing between them to allow for air circulation and improve drying efficiency. Furthermore, volatile or flammable items must never be placed in the drying oven to avoid potential hazards.
3. Temperature Setting
Before using the drying oven, correctly set the temperature according to the drying requirements of the items. When setting the temperature, adjust it gradually; do not set the temperature too high all at once. Setting the temperature too high may cause over-drying or even damage the items. Also, if any abnormal temperature is detected during the drying process, such as excessive temperature fluctuations or failure to reach the set temperature, stop the drying oven immediately, check the cause, and repair it.
4. Operating Procedures
Before turning on the drying oven, check that the power supply is properly connected and that all parameters are set correctly. When turning off the drying oven, first adjust the temperature to room temperature and wait for the internal temperature to drop before turning off the power. During the drying process, avoid frequently opening the drying oven door, as each opening will change the internal temperature and humidity, affecting the drying effect and increasing energy consumption.
5. Regular Maintenance
To ensure the normal operation and performance of the drying oven, regular maintenance is necessary. Regularly clean the inside of the drying oven to remove dust and debris, preventing excessive accumulation that could affect heating efficiency. Check the operation of components such as the temperature sensor and fan; replace or repair any abnormalities promptly. Additionally, calibrate the drying oven periodically to ensure accurate temperature control.
